Runs & streaks
Recording, accuracy, and how days are counted.
My run didn't save
Runs are stored on your phone first and synced afterwards, so nothing is lost when you go through a tunnel or drop signal. Open the app somewhere with a connection and pull down on Home to refresh.
If the run still isn't there, email us with roughly when you ran and we'll recover it.
A day is missing from my streak
A day counts once you finish the daily goal, and days roll over at midnight where you are. If you cross time zones mid-streak, the boundary follows your phone.
If a day you definitely completed isn't counted, write to us — we can see the runs on your account and put it right.
My distance looks short, or the route is jumpy
GPS is read only while a run is active, and accuracy suffers between tall buildings or under heavy tree cover.
For the cleanest trace, allow location "While Using the App" — or "Always", so a locked screen doesn't interrupt the run — and leave Motion & Fitness enabled so indoor stretches still count.
Can I run indoors or on a treadmill?
Yes. When GPS isn't available, RunChoice uses motion data instead, so treadmill and indoor runs still record and still count toward your streak.
Coins & rewards
What running earns you, and how to claim it.
How do coins and rewards work?
Running earns coins, and coins unlock cosmetics in the shop — avatar frames, flame skins and themes.
Eligible runners who complete two five-day streaks inside one calendar month also become eligible for a physical reward, sent by post. The full conditions are in the Reward Rules.
I claimed a reward and it hasn't arrived
Every claim has a deadline, shown on the claim screen. Once you submit, we check the qualifying runs and the shipping address before anything is sent.
If your claim is past its expected date, email us from your account address and we'll trace it.
Can I change my shipping address after claiming?
Yes, up until the reward is dispatched. Open the claim from the Rewards tab and update the address there. After dispatch we can't redirect it, so let us know quickly if something is wrong.
Your account
Signing in, changing details, and leaving.
Change your email address
Profile → Email. We send a confirmation link to the new address and the change takes effect once you open it.
If you sign in with Google or Apple, you'll keep signing in exactly the same way. This changes where we send mail, not how you log in — and the new address doesn't become a way to sign in.
I've forgotten my password
Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen. If you originally signed up with Google or Apple, use that button instead — those accounts don't have a RunChoice password.
Two-factor authentication
Profile → Two-factor authentication. RunChoice uses authenticator apps rather than text messages.
Keep your recovery information somewhere safe. Without the authenticator or that recovery access we can't unlock an account — that's deliberate, and it's what makes the protection worth having.
Delete your account
Profile → Delete account, inside the app. This permanently removes your runs, streaks, coins and profile, and cancels any pending reward claims. It can't be undone.
RunChoice+
Billing is handled by Apple, so some of this lives in your Apple account.
Manage or cancel your subscription
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. There's also a "Manage subscription" link in the app under Profile.
Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the current period ends.
Restore a purchase
Reinstalled the app, or moved to a new phone? Open the RunChoice+ screen and tap "Restore purchases". Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account that bought the subscription.
Refunds
Apple handles all billing and refunds for App Store subscriptions. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
We can't issue refunds on Apple's behalf, but tell us what went wrong and we'll help where we can.
Privacy & safety
What we do with your data, and what we don't.
What do you do with my data?
We don't track you across other companies' apps or websites, and there's no advertising in RunChoice. What we collect and why is set out plainly in the Privacy Policy.
Is RunChoice a medical or safety app?
No. RunChoice is a fitness app — not medical advice, and not an emergency service. Run somewhere you know, stay aware of traffic, and stop if something hurts.
Still stuck?
Tell us your account email, your iPhone model and iOS version, and the date of the run in question. That usually gets you a real answer in one reply instead of three.
